This was my first week of A2, we were shown a number of previous trailers made by past students of Lampton school. These trailers were a mixture of genres such as thriller, horror and action. I had two favourite amateur trailers- Aimee and 024.

This was due to those trailers looking the most effective and meeting the criteria a teaser trailer needs to meet. We had to then make an A2 page on Weebly and start on the research page and the blog, in order to get a head start on work, rather than starting it in September. Mr Goddard also ordered us to choose who we would like to work with when making our own teaser trailers, we had to base this on who we would work well with and what type of genre we would want to convey. I chose to work with Jamaila, Nakita, Kiran and Simran. They are hard working students and we all have similar ideas to what we want our teaser trailer to be like so working with them would be ideal!
I also had a double lesson with Ms Mayes- this was my first time having her as a teacher so i wasnt sure what her lessons would be like but it turned out to be quite interesting. We were shown a number of Theatrical Trailers and Teaser trailers, we were then made to compare the two type of trailers- this gave the class and i an insight to what type of trailer we have to convey and the codes and conventions that we have to consider using. Even though it was our first lesson with Ms Mayes, she still intended to give us homework which was to review two amateur trailers and two professionals. This work was fairly easy analysing videos is something I have done a lot of during GCSE's and AS.
